OUR MAM

Mary Haycock/Tinkler passed away on the 30th of June 2007. She was a bright and caring woman who loved to have a laugh and left behind four beautiful daughters, a beloved son, fifteen wonderful grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The book 'Our Mam' is a series of contemporary images that I have taken in response to the memories surrounding a collection of items and images kept by Mary's four daughters and the significance these hold within their homes. In 2022, I exhibited this work as part of the Here//Now Exhibition and created an installation inviting the viewer into a replica of Nanna Mary's livingroom.
